Isn't there some disconnect protection?

Just curious, I'm not that good in the game, and don't know all the in's and outs. But today internet was lost throughout most our city, I had full life, and 2-3 small mobs on me, and was at full life. Isn't there some system that exits when you disconnect? Or are all the people high level in Hardcore just "lucky" a random disconnect hasn't killed them yet? Really frustrating, since I think the game is awesome, but unplayable if you lose your char each time a random internet crash occurs. " There are systems in place to remove your character from the game world when you are disconnected, but it is not instant. It can take anywhere from a few seconds, to as many as 40 seconds (from what I've seen) based on the circumstances of your disconnect. Sorry for your loss. |

Ah okay thanks, at least a little something good came out of it.
I have been playing with a mate of mine, and I always use that Enduring cry, I think I pull aggro with it. And I was mainly the guy in front, tanking. He lives in my city, we both lost internet at the same time, and were next to each other. But when the internet came back, he still had his character, so that's pretty cool. I'd like to think "I saved him" And when I logged on, a stranger gave me full leveling gear, a few low level legendary to get me started =] |
