Players that post their gear in their shops, piss off a lot of you : players that are searching for items in a forum indexer, si that right ?

Posting your Kaom's Heart and looking for an upgrade, are you kidding me :

I suggest we start all to post our gear in the second post of the shop thread, here is an example :

Doing so, the items will not be listed in forum indexers and everybody will be happy.

We have to ask GGG or GGG_support to hear our request in making this as a new rule for the new incoming leagues.

If you want this to happen, raise your voice here, SUPPORT/GGG might hear you.

( Note : the release might change the way we trade ( using forum) but let's suppose it will not )

There are more serious problems with this game than the one you mention in this thread.

Why aren't we funding this?

I like it. But if it is a rule, won't the mods have extra work fixing bad threads?

+1, should not be a problem for changing rules and put it in news/patch notes.

The rule should be very simple. If its not for sale DON'T PUT IT IN A FOR SALE THREAD!. end of story. If you are one of the people that does this, please pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow.

I think the only problem with this idea(and all the complaints about people linking their gear in threads in the first place) is that you are expecting other people to change their behavior based on the fact that it makes it inconvenient for you using some THIRD-PARTY site. These sites are certainly useful and the idea itself may be good, but keep in mind that not everyone uses these sites(probably MOST people playing the game don't, in fact) and many may not even be aware that they exist, so asking people to change what/how they post based on that might not be entirely fair.

A slightly better option would be for these other sites themselves to be able to detect when someone is posting their gear and looking for upgrades(based on certain keywords etc) but without a standard formatting(again, assume the people posting don't know or care about these sites), this may not be possible.

The best solution obviously would be for GGG to add their own trading system, which they are supposedly already working on. I would certainly hope that something like this is among the additions made with the full release, but either way, I doubt they would want to add some rules like you suggest based on these third-party sites instead.

1) The ones that would like to post their gear ( looking for upgrades ) : post in second post.
2) US : the others players, that are looking for items to buy! ( you will never find the items listed in second post of selling/shop thread )

Yes i had that thought, but i remember ggg closing threads with only NOT FOR SALE items. Meh yeah maybe they would not change the rules to benefit players use of indexers, but who knows.

Yes changing indexers and making them detect when an item is only for upgrade would be useful, the thing is people will not know about it ( while they will know about the rules : example= do not bump more than once a hour ), I do not know yet how to make indexers detect a bo properly and i trade a lot so..
