Anarchy and Onslaught Items - Will they eventually drop in Standard and HC ?

Anyone knows if the Anarchy and Onslaught items will drop in HC and Standard after the merges ?

If I had to guess, I'd say that the items that drop in both Anarchy and Onslaught will start dropping in normal leagues (HC and Standard) after the merge. The Anarchy-only or Onslaught-only items may not.

What do you think ? Is there any official information on this ?

I would like to know as well, since they are transferring over soon I think it makes sense that it would though.

I'd prefer the league specific items stay league specific. There were runeword combos in D2 that were ladder only, and once the ladder reset those items became quite valuable.

Someone could always get those items in Onslaught then suicide a character with those items, to get them in standard league, but the amount of players willing to do that will be far, far less than the demand for those items. If it was up to me, I'd make league only items disappear if you die and go to standard league, and the only way to move those items is a ladder reset.

I don't see any point in ever playing anarchy if the same drops are in standard league. The exiles don't really change the game in any meaningful way. And anarchy gets screwed out of a bunch of really good items, particularly Kaom's heart and the 3 unique onyx amulets. And prism ring is one of the best base rings, they miss out on that too.

On another note, once Anarchy resets, I'm never playing it again.

Anarchy won't "reset", it will just disappear.
