The public weekend is awsome

First of all, I would like to express my thanks to the devs for the awsome game.
I got myself a lvl 28 shadow in two days. I absolutely love the visual of rapiers and dagger, and the ability to dual wield them is like dream come true, again, thank you

Here are a couple of suggestions:
1. The longbow and composite bow visual seemed to be inversed. The longbow looks quite short, while the composite bow looks abnormally long.
2. The targeting system needs to be better. When hoovering the mouse over an enemy, the red outline should appear sooner. By that, i mean the red outline only appears when the mouse hoovers over the body of the enemies. It was hard for me to target enemies, especially the moving ones.

hope this helps, cant wait for open beta
A suggestion regarding the 2nd point:

If you hold down SHIFT it will lock your character in place, while you're doing this you can point your mouse in the general direction of the enemies and use your attacks, much like manually targeting. This helps a lot in the beginning until you can get some decent AoE.
Well, part of the problem with shift clicking for melee attacks is that hitboxes are still pretty iffy, and unless my mouse is still RIGHT on top of the target I want to hit, the attack misses the hitbox.
Wanna add a little bit to this.
I REALLY enjoyed the open beta weekend, got to play a witch and got it till level 27 at first I did really bad(not knowing what I was doing) but after some time I got the hang of it.
Can't wait till I get my beta key/open beta starts!

Agree. i played little bits here and there.

not sure if this is the place to post some feedback but other than the rather outdated graphics i wud say the gameplay is really good

p.s. i play d3 too
I'm really glad we got to play this great game during the public beta. The graphics and music gave this game a nice, dark atmosphere and the gameplay itself was good. The skill gem and passive skills tree systems reminded me of Final Fantasy games (materia in FF7 and the skill tree in FFX). Comparing this game to the recently released Diablo 3 (which I also played during its free beta) I can honestly say that in my opinion Path of Exile is a much better choice.

I have a small, cosmetic suggestion. I noticed sometimes there are a lot of items on the screen and it's easy to get lost in what you want to pick up even though the preview appears in the lower right corner. It might be a good idea to highlight the name of the item that the pointer is currently hovering over.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game again.

That's a good idea. Post it in a separate thread in the suggestions forum so it doesn't get lost
