Some says Marohi is suck for 408 crappy dps

Marohi got only 408 dps comapring 550+ top rare 2handed.
Even well-rolled one handed soul taker(350+) is near to Marohi.

Then is it suck and crappy weapon?
Answer is "Nope".

Dps dont belive it 100%.
Dps in game description is heavily inflated by IAS, elemental damage multiplier,
and doesnt count enemy armor.

First, for highly inflated ele damage dps weapons,
lots of mobs and boss got certain ele resistances so its not powerful as dps shown.
Only few got physical resi comparing ele resi.
Second, for highly inflated IAS dps weapons,
their dps is not working properly for high lvl mob or boss due to enemy armor.
Simply daggers can not penetrate boss's armor well.

Marohi got the biggest physical damage 250% of all weapons, even higher than any top rares,
which is far superior to penetrate their armor bringing the highest physical raw damage per hit.
Thanks to Marohi's raw damage and 70% increased stun,
semi-perma stun lock combo is great as well.

Just think d2/d3 case.
Why barb prefer the slow massive weapons?
They prefer high physical min-max damage rather than ele dmg, IAS and dps etcs.
Its almost same.

In conclusion, I do not claim Marohi is fukin good or superior weapon to top rares.
Cos of its crappy dps yeah we all know.
However Marohi has its own value as the highest physical raw damage weapon of all,
which has undescripted substantial damage bonus beyond just 408 dps crappy weapon.

Yes, this is true, but same is true with physical damage. It is mitigated by armor - but the bonus to using elemental damage over physical is that the better the IAS the better the damage since resist is a flat amount mitigated, and isn't reduced more the lower damage you hit - unlike physical. So, doing a lot of smaller hits that are elemental, is a lot more effective then doing a lot of smaller physical hits.

Does this matter or pertain to your post? Not really, - but, potentially someone could go with a 2h elemental damage maul build that would benefit more from a tri elemental maul over Marohi.

I do agree that Marohi is one of the better if not best 2h weapon for the main builds (Ground slam, leap slam, etc) mainly because it is 7 links but also because it does hit like a truck :)

Monsters will resist like 1% at most, of physical damage with marohi erqi. Its nothing lol. Physical is far superior to elemental. Monsters have 1k armor max....

And the highest % physical resist mobs get is like 30% from map mod, some blues / rares get undefined physical resist, and very few assorted monsters or rares get endurance charges, thats it.

Don't feel compelled to defend Marohi because some "elite" player has posted to say how it sucks.
It's a trend this week: this item is OP, that item sucks. Honestly, who cares ?

Some attack benefit from fast weapons, others from slow weapons. There's a goooooooood spot for Marohi, only fools would doubt this.
If people find something better than Marohi, good for them, it's not like it is suddenly useless for everyone. ;)
