Game Crashes When I Use Lightning Strike.

Every time I try to use the skill Lightning Strike, my marauder's main AoE and ranged attack, the game crashes. It gives me an error message saying "Unable to add particle effect to bone group named blade," then when I click OK on that, it comes up "Runtime Error! Program: Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe abnormal program termination."

This happens regardless of whether I have support gems connected to it, and every single time I hit the button mapped to lightning strike. I'm running Windows 7, and never had the problem before the latest patch. Incredibly frustrating.
