Vaal stones

Is there a way to dodge the stones falling from the top of the room when killing Vaal or a way to predict where they´re going to fall down?

They are supposed to not fall near Vaal. Don't know how accurate that is.

From what I've heard and experienced so far, the safest spot is next to Vaal. Also I've heard that after a small rock falls a big one follows on the same spot.

Also in that form when he raises his fist, he's trying to give you a High Five. Get in there and don't leave him hanging.

Thank you for the responses I will definitely try the one with standing near Vaal out in hopes of not getting smashed by his fist.

Vaal stones killed my summoner in merciless. To me it felt like there literally was nothing i could do, and I must have been extremely unlucky. (Got hit once, lost all ES + half my HP, moved away drinking pots, but less than 3 seconds later another stone hit me and killed me.)

If its true the stones wont fall close to vaal;, I'd say its safer to stand close to him than far away during his "smash mode" Unless u are stacking tonnes of HP and got Panic pots.

2 rocks in 2 seconds killed my witch close to Vaal (Merc, Ons), i think there is no safe place.

You need :


Seething life flasks
or, just life flask of grounding.



shock + rock = dead
rock + you don't recover in time + 2nd rock = dead.



Yes you can predict where they will fall. A smaller stome should fall first

i hear endurance charges and granites are strong vs the rocks
