Crafting? Don't be silly, just buy the item.

I can't bring myself to play PoE anymore because of this exact same shit. I want to "craft" things, I want to enjoy the "crafting" aspect of this game. But it's absolutely futile. Any time I use a piece of currency the only outcome is regret.

Pro tip;

Dont craft on your main iteams in the future, craft on pieces that WILL BE AN UPGRADE FOR YOU.

Rhis way you are not able to "ruin" anything.



Sorry your RNG sucks, but again. you can not always win.


I would recomend you posting something creative in the suggeation forum as you "seem" to have it all figured out already and stop "hating".


I love the crafting system. both on paper and as it is.

To all the people saying "RNG is RNG" - you are correct. However, the issue is, that GGG has put a system in place that is so horribly broken that people are advised to avoid said system and simply purchase items - THAT is a problem. For example, if every Ranged character was told "Sorry play melee" then THAT would be a problem, because whatever system was in place for ranged users would be broken and needs to be fixed.

Was the same thing in D3, the drops were skewed to match the AH so players were told not to farm or craft but instead just buy items off of the AH. Okay, fine enough, but if that's the case then D3/PoE are not hack'n'slash ARPG's of the traditional sort, they are instead 'economic simulators with ARPG elements' and I do not believe any of us signed on for that when we downloaded the client. Maybe I am wrong.

i craft in hardcore when the gear i'm looking for just isn't available to buy.

this can happen pretty easily if you are making a niche character

it's a painful process though, not entirely enjoyable and extremely expensive

all these people that still explain "the system" like the OP didn't know it in the first place.
This post is not about "how to craft or how to gamble".
This post is a "fuck you" to their system.
This is the meaning i got from it at least.
And i agree , the current system sucks, i hate to craft/gamble and i would like it changed.
It's a beta for a reason.
