FIX FOR System Crash - BSOD (PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA) - FOR Creative X-FI on WINXP/VISTA/WIN7
=========================================================== I like this game and i know some players has problems with system crashs(reboot) or Blue's with PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA, so hopefully i've create a fix for it. This fix is dedicated to CREATIVE X-FI SERIES with HWID: PCI&VEN_1102&DEV_0005 Be sure u are using this BETA driver: SBXF_PCDRVBETA_US_2_18_0015A with "Forcing the driver signature" Disable (DL: http://support.creative.com/downloads/welcome.aspx?nLanguageLocale=1031&nOS=31&nDriverType=11#type_11) IF U WANT A FIX FOR PCI&VEN_1102&DEV_000B or any other HW builds just ask for it here! It works for me so please try it and give me some feedback! If its not work send me a screenshot of the DOSBOX and the REGEDIT that appears after launching install.bat! THIS FIX IS TESTED ON 2 SYSTEMS NOW.IT HELPS FOR ME AND A FRIEND! README ======= ########################## # XRAM FIX 1.0 by tronic # ########################## This fix comes with absolutely no warranty! Use it at your own risk! The Install.bat independently created the "DisableXRAM" and the "DisableXRAMonAsio" command in your registry. The Deinstall.bat Removes only the command "DisableXRAM" because the usage of asio drivers XRAM should be disabled anyway. Be sure u run this as Administrator and Anti Virus Software temporary disable! Otherwise u may dont have the permission to do this action and the fix probably dont work! I have no crashes after 50 - 100 area switches now,

Please do not post links to arbitrary executable code on the forum. There is no way that we can know if it is a virus or not.
We will solve any BSOD problems ourselves in a way that is not risky for the players. |
