" I have not had any issues with lightning thorns. I usually just kill the boss before she casts it. Honestly most of the blackguard groups I encounter die instantly and dont get time to get lightning thorns up. The bow doesnt do anything to address lightning thorns so if it is up, it will still hurt as much as with a lioneye. IGN: Ciridae

" It has nothing to do with the skill tree but the fact that I have alot of int on my amulet and shadows also have more int than rangers that being said you might want to spec into a +30 int node or get some on ur gear. You say to link Frenzy with Weapon Elemental Damage. Is this because you are using Voltaxic, or is this even right on a Lioneye's build? Or is there just enough elemental damage on your gear to make this worthwhile?

" Auras give you insane damage when you have WED on your attack even when using lioneyes. It would also scale like mad if you had elemental damage on your gear but I refrained from getting flat damage on gear because of reflect when using lioneyes. Hi, I'm pretty much a noob and still don't get that much numbers and stuff yet...I've started with a shadow, and at the moment (around lvl 30 just made it to normal sarn), it's been a bit hard following that path on skill tree, mostly because gear suck at low levels, took me some time to kill vaal...I don't have too much trouble to stay away from damger, but in sarn some mobs do vicious damage and without evasion, armor or ES one hit hurts a lot, even with high HP if I keep going cruel would be hard to finish...I'm thinking on using some skillpoints on evasion or something (like ranger skill path), and at higher levels with more hp refund them
or maybe I did something wrong?? some advice would be appreciated, thanks for answers and congrats with that build srry for bad english sorry for bad english :S

" If you are lacking damage you might want to try and upgrade gear while leveling but to be honest 5 frenzy charges at the end of normal is pretty good. If you are having a hard time staying alive I would recommend using pure armour gear to mitigate damage or hybrid armour/evasion.
