Vendor only gold/points/credit....

Basically the idea is something akin to no drop/trade type of gold that can only be used at vendors. Either a slight revamp of the currency vendor or a new vendor who has every type of currency for sale but only for the new vendor only currency. You earn the vendor only currency by killing mobs and then can trade it for normal currency/crafting items. The exchange rate should be high so that its not an easy/normal trade route and to limit it from adding to current currency inflation problems. It should also be one way so that it does not become an alternate trade route in game.

This is primarily for folks who play solo to be able to compensate for lower drop rates to be able to eventually get currency that just does not drop normally for them. I would say something along the line of 2 maps worth of monsters to get an Alch, 4 maps (or say 1 lunaris 3 run) for a chaos, 16 maps to a GCP, and roughly 200ish maps (50ish lunaris 3 runs) for an Exalt.

To balance for kill speed there should be increasing reduction in accumulation of points for groups so for every person that joins a group you get 1/3 the normal vendor points. So a group of 2 gets 2/3 (1/3 each person) the normal and a group of 3 would only get 1/3 the total number of points (each person getting 1/9th). This is to make it so that going after vendor points is more rewarding solo than in groups to counter the current item farming in groups.

In addition GGG could change the price of items at the vendor based upon any problems they see with inflation if it becomes to much of a currency faucet. I envision earning this like XP.. something automatic at every kill with reductions if your to high a level and bonuses for to low level. I would also suggest a cap on the speed which you can earn the points.. so that no matter how fast you kill you can never earn more than a certain amount per minute.. again to help limit it from become a significant factor in inflation.
