Rate limiting active. You must wait seconds before trying again. ?

Hello,


So i was answering like 15 PM trades accumulated over a week or so.. and had this :


"Rate limiting active. You must wait seconds before trying again."
I try like 10 sec after, and i have :

"Rate limiting active. You must wait 300 seconds before trying again."


Is this supposed to happen to a player active + 2days after OB open old ?

You've probably run afoul of the spam filters. It just limits how many chat messages you can send out at once. The reason is that it is supposed to make it harder for gold farmers to whisper links to their shitty RMA sites to people. Or fill up trade chat with the same thing over and over.

I think it's genius ( except if it's applied to all accounts equally )

This is so annoying...

Stop spamming. 99% of the playing public will never have the issue you have. 100% of the playing public is benefited by this rule cutting down on chat spam.

You should change whatever behavior is causing the issue (answer your mail more often?). You should not expect PoE to change its policy.
