Reserved (and fixed a broken link in the OP)
Bump b4 bed!
I had the sane problem as well. Really annoying. In contrast to HP builds, you don't have 2.5% regeneration IN FIGHT, just life steal. If you have 6K HP and a bit of regeneration on gear, you have 200 HP reg per sec easily. So In fight, HP is actually more useful than ES in fights longer than a few seconds because you actually easily regenerate the difference between HP and ES in fight. Ex.: 10 sec fight: My mate regenerates 2K HP. I have 8K ES, he has 6K HP. He regenerates the 2K HP within these 10 seconds. In even longer fights, he easily outlasts me, because I also have lower armor and take a lot more damage. People always say HP is inferior to ES. Maybe my items suck, or my build sucks, but at level 80, I DO have more ES than my mate, but effectively, he can tank a lot more because of regeneration and armor. And now, after the "nerf" / balance, I feel it's even more in his favour. Maybe just a feeling.

Pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole nerf too. Besides the disgruntlement that it seems like it was snuck in to the patch and that shavronne's based builds are not affected by it whatsoever.

What also sucked is I liked the flavor of my old build with a lot more invested in ES cd recovery. Get mobs frozen for 3 seconds and can start to regen some ES... now I am reduced to a ES cd recovery I would have only previously had if wearing Rime Gaze and I have always considered that one of the worst, most useless uniques.

died in a few 71 maps so changed around a bit more again, new build:
Passive skill tree build
newest build seems to be the best got to level 84 finally with it. Finished off the level in Acton's Nightmare which was fun and not too hard.

The main difference is I have 32% mitigation before granite now.

Put the point at 84 into 7% reduced mana cast node near templar area.
