Open map, get phone call and idle for 15 mins, can't enter portals now

Error: Failed to join instance because Disconnected from server.
Failed to join any instances.

At no point did i leave the lab room or disconnect from the server, I simply idled for 15 minutes because of a phone call and now I lost another map.

Can data loss bugs get priority please?
