Anyone else tired of finding common uniques over and over....?

Not so long ago, people were complaining that uniques didn't drop. Now they are complaining that all the unique drops stink. I wouldn't mind a system where your character gets tagged every time it finds a unique, and capping the number of times you could find any single unique. I actually wouldn't mind it being capped at once per unique item - they are supposed to be unique after all. To compensate, there might be some way to very slightly increase the chances of finding the remaining uniques once your cap was reached for an item. So instead of having a 1 in a zillion chance of finding a Sharonnes, it becomes a 1.00001 in a zillion chance.

I've proposed similar ideas before. The idea isn't to make the good uniques easier to find. Its to make every unique that you find be more valuable.

Keeping common uniques worthless is what allows new players a chance to actually buy them

if you make vendor recipe for say 5 chances, then suddenly the price of a unique is at least worth 5 chances to buy.
If I see another pair of Lionseye's Paws drop I'm going to start killing people.

the vendor recipe is 5 chances. you just need a normal , blue and yellow item of the same type.

currently that recipe is pretty viable , but held back by the amount of space needed to get it to work. It is just as annoying as the double rare formulas
I keep getting...

Somehow I find uniques less unique when you have 7 copies....

Its hard to like two of the new uniques when their just going to help clog up the end game farming....

They are meant to be common to encourage you to try different characters. People complain that there isn't enough end game while the end game content is still being worked on. Take away the leveling uniques and people will complain they don't want to roll another character either.

Just ignore the fact that they are orange. Would people complain less if GGG made them pink? Does it really boil down to how your brain is triggered by color? Leave them on the ground if you like, vender them if you like. What's the big deal?

I am very glad they drop so much, because I myself have leveled and experimented with several characters after getting through the first. Without them, I would have probably stopped playing. With them, I can say, hmm maybe I will try this or that change to my build, let's try it out. I can get to level 65 again really easily with the leveling uniques.

Who said anything about taking them away?

Right now everyone has pages full of them regardless of where they are farming, and you can buy nearly any of them for an alch?
