Does Hatred effect the skill Ethereal Knives?

It does. So does Added Fire Damage. I also highly recommend some increased projectile speed.
Urist McDwarfy has been happy lately. He admired an exceptional ARPG recently. He took joy in slaughter lately. He has been attacked by the dead recently.

That's right, it doesn't have to link to EK.
Nice to see UristMcD providing a bit of help on this -- the dude basically justified EK's existence with his Maelstrom video. I deeply appreciated that. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

EK is HUGELY underestimated. I especially think it will be productive in the PvP scene

CI gives you 1 hp, so you're always at 100% health (as you'd be dead otherwise!). So PA will never work with CI.

Now we're talking more about EK than hatred. If I may ask a question, what modifiers from gear specifically boost EK's damage?
I had heard it said that Moonsorrow is a great wand for EK (not sure now if this is true). I assumed at the time that its %IPD was applying to the spell's damage. But now looking carefully at the affix list, all %IPD modifiers seem to be local, while all %elemental and %spell modifiers seem to be global. So is it limited to: %spelldmg %spell crit %crit %critical damage %cast speed on gear, for improving EK's DPS? although, even the blanket crit mod has a global and a local variant, not sure which slot global %crit can spawn with. Maybe only amulet/belt. And, as urist has pointed out before, crit isn't really an amazing dps booster for EK. thanks for your time. -- I don't have alpha access, that was a LONG time ago. Also projectile damage and spell damage both increase the damage on it.
