BUG Report
The first bug occurs in the Experimental Lab. You can run through the map device. It is not a solid object.
http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/1818/screenshot0037.png These next ones may fall under your known bugs of enemies being "out of bounds". Notice the location of the dead guy. (not really a big issue, just looked weird) http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/9213/screenshot0035.png Look at all the "debris" that is off of the bridge and suspended in air. http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/7673/screenshot0032.png Item out of bounds http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/292/screenshot0031.png Unhittable enemies: There was a spider in the corner, and my freezing pulse could not hit him. I know from experience that freezing pulse has issues with objects/walls in terms of the pulse hitting the enemy but the wall/object "absorbing" the projectile thus causing no damage to enemeny. I switched to ice spear, yet I could not hit the spider. I had to bring him out of the corner to kill him. http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/206/screenshot0026.png Here, the skeleton can be seen, but could not be hit. Nor could he not walk away from the wall. He could walk up and down the wall, but seemed to be stuck (in the wall?) Eventually the game respawned him to his original spawn point (other room) This has happened before. May be desync, server losing enemy? http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/453/screenshot0033n.png |

Sorry, Rory's away for a few days, and he's usually in charge of finding and processing these reports. That last one is definitely sync, and I'll find someone totell about the out of bounds item.
The corpse and shattered guys aren't about things being aout of bounds, they're a limitation of how the game works. The monster has a specific location, which doesn't change when it dies. If it falls over, then given that it's actual locaiton is at it's feet, the rest of it's body can be decent way away from that. But it's in-game locaiton is still the same, and is a valid location. Similar for the shattered guys. The "actual" location that the effect is at is where the monster was, but the pieces spread out a bit from that, so can end up over ledges, etc. |
