Frozen at load screen

I'm running POE on a mac and ran the update this morning. Now it is freezes on the load screen. Any help to get this game running would be appreciated. Thanks.

Minimizing or alttabbing can cause problems. Just throwing it out.

I only started played a few days ago. It worked fine the first day, but yesterday the game began to load indefinitely when started, even if I don't tab or do anything.

Additional programs can cause problems.. Mumble is the biggest from what I've read.
