game crashes half the time i go to town

The "EOUTOFMEMORY", "Unable to Map File" or "Unable to MapViewOfFile" usually occurs when your game file runs out of ram, this is common on PCs with low ram or running 32bit versions of windows. You could try running the game with texture quality set to medium (or lower) as this usually fixes this issue, although having less than 4gb of ram will cause problems after changing areas a number of times. We will improve the memory recovery system in future. You can also reduce the rate of these crashes slightly by adding -gc 2 to the end of your Path of Exile shortcut target, as shown here:
 If you are still having frequent crashes, you can turn your Texture Quality down even further by manually editing the production_Config.ini file. You can find this file in your Documents/My Games/Path of Exile folder. If you find the line texture_quality=1 and change the number to 2, you'll reduce the texture quality even further. none of what you suggested fixes the crashing
just crashed in a 73 map when using the last portal really making me angry here I am the world's best path of exile player, I strong I kill all monster with amazing power

If it has been working fine till now, what changed on your PC? What updates got installed or what did you uninstall?

nothing has changed on this pc, it was actually not crashing at all before the latest big update (0.11), ever since then ive been getting nonstop mapchunk errors whenever i go to town (a lot less times when i go to an empty instance, but the option isnt always there.... forced to join towns full of people and thats when the game is almost certain to crash 100% each time)
