Grouping Bug?

My friend and I grouped up this weekend to try out grouping in PoE. While grouped on two or three occasions we would leave one zone to enter the next area together only to find ourselves not in the same area. The only way we could sync back up was to use town portals and jump in the other persons portal in order to get back together.

Also, the group loot system needs work. While D3 had issues the loot system was actually quite nice in that you never had to question whether or not an item on the group was for you. At the very least if the current system stays in place, the timers need to be extended, by a lot.
