Failed to join instance; Eternal Laboratory

About 30 minutes or so after the restart to revert the changes made for the open weekend, I loaded a level 60 map "Massive Dried Lake Map of Hemomancy" into the laboratory.

When I attempted to enter the first portal I was disconnected, and upon logging in again I received this error when attempting to enter any other portals.

To make it worse, every time I attempted to enter another portal it would close after I received the error message.
