Weird screen tearing / Artifacts / Map not working

i5-2500K/p8p67pro build with 8gb Corsair Vengeance ram, 1tb HDD, MSI GTX560 Twin Frozr (latest drivers, uses MSI Afterburner as well.), Windows 7 64bit Enterprise Edition, Logitech G35 Headset (uses Logitech Gaming Software), Logitech G700 Mouse (uses Logitech Gaming Software), Mionix Zibal60 (uses default windows drivers), I also have an Audigy Platinum installed, however it is currently disabled, as I mainly use the headset nowadays.

Also use Ventrilo for chat and Pandora (Firefox) for music and browse web (IE9) while playing, not that this has anything to due with the issue, just trying to be as thorough as possible. :)

I think this is what was said before....

Good Cards have a problem where they can actually redraw faster than new information is provided....essentially, you want to give it more information to work on and limit your FPS.

I would also suggest monitoring your GPU temps.
OS: WinXP SP2 32bit
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Ram : 4GB Kingston PC2-6400 5-5-5-18
Mobo: Abit KN9-Sli (NF570-Sli chipset with Realtek Audio)
GPU: ATI HD4670 1GB
HD: Maxtor 20GB - OS - Seagate 500GB - Games / Storage / PageFile
Network / ISP: Wired / Cox Cable
My temps are fine, that was actually my first suspicion.

It must be a driver compatibility issue?

I had the same issues with BF3 for a while. -_-

Not sure, the only way to check Driver Compat off is to install an older one...I never suggest rollback...but that could explain the Map issue.

I don't think it's an issue on my side, I believe it's a game issue, which is why I posted it here, just to be sure they're aware of it.

Were it an issue on my end I would surely be qualified to resolve it. :)

Thanks for trying though!

See you in Wraeclast!

/e I actually just went back and listed all the drivers and utilities that I run while gaming as well.

Thanks for the update on the hardware....looks like a pretty nice system.

With the CPU you have, have you seen this WinFix: i7 - has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

This looks like a problem that we're working on diagnosing! Thanks for the information.

I think that may only apply to HT cpus, I also have all power saving features disabled (BIOS/OS).

Thanks for the headsup though. :)

I had this same problem. It occured after I left the game idle for a few hours and then returned to it, logged in, and started doing a dry peninsula map. It was cleared after I closed the game and restarted it. This dxdiag.txt file should contain all relevant machine configuration information.
