Audio Issues after new patch
After the new patch today, the volume for ambience and sound effects could not be controlled. The audio is deafening loud even if you move the bars all they way to the left. In the configuration file for the game, I set the audio to 0 for all audio. When the game launches initially, you can't hear any sound (as it should be). As soon as I choose a character and loads into town, the audio goes back to blaring loud. You can control the audio for the background music, but nothing else. From there I log back to the main title screen and you still have uncontrollable sound sans background music.

Same here, extraordinary loud ambient and fight sounds, unplayable like this, even with speakers turned down to a minimum :-C

hello
I had exactly the same isse, very annoying, even worse than no sound at all ^ Fixed by installing the new realtek software (released few time ago) http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false :) Last edited by Universalis#5776 on Mar 1, 2019, 5:24:59 PM

Hi guys, thanks for letting us know. I will forward this on to the relevant developers.

New drivers are not necessary, I've reinstalled same old R1.65 drivers (I use them because of the jack detection problems on newer ones) and it worked just fine.
Edit: re-logged few times and now it's back. Updated to R2.71, works (so far). Last edited by Sorian#2134 on Jun 6, 2013, 7:49:48 AM
