Thoughts?

It is awesome I have played in the BWE and its sweet. The combat is real fun and the quests are well done too as you can choose how to complete them. There is just so much in this game and can't wait to play the release. I got the 150$ Collector's Edition (I got all of the CE's for GW1)

Yep, and tomorrow kicks off BWE3! Super excited to finally play as a plant dude.

Gw1 purest here....GW2....no thx.

It just scared the living shiz out of me...... As I though it was aimed at me.....

My names Vincent... =D And a few posts back I said something similar to that to someone =D ........ Would be the ultimate troll if he said that back to me lol.

I've played both WoW, GW and GW2. GW2 is nothing like WoW, sure they have things in common but one is not like the other, other than both being MMO's. I think the graphics are astounding, they might not be most technical out there but the art is great. I understand that is not much like GW but I don't think that is a problem.

I posted plenty of constructive feedbacks on GW2 in their forum which have been likely ignored (almost all their feedbacks have been ignored). I don't care to prove points -- right now the game is destined for an early death. About 2 months after it's release come on back here and read my comments.

Ya, you'll enjoy any mmo for about a month. GW2 is amazingly stale once you get past all the faddy mmo elements. It's is a shallow game. Faddy crap people expect to see - stuff that will make the gameplay enjoyable for a month, bearable for the 2nd, then dead.

There is ZERO character specialization, nothing at all like GW1, just 'story' (I recall 'story' being a huge excitement from the d3 and swtor fanboys too). You might enjoy your PvE for a month, cause pvp is horrid in GW2 - lackluster and boring on all fronts.

GW2 isnt Guildwars. You can't make a "sequel" and gut every gameplay mechanic and character customization that made the original... Original!

GW1 - character specialization pve for hardcore pvp
GW2 - Faddy mmo pve with silly pvp.

Having said that I hope they change direction. I already have it bought so it's in my best interest to see it succeed -- but I've been around... expect nothing to change.
