Help with a AOE perma freeze/critical build

Hi guys.
im new to the game(actually day one) and i was wondering IF i can make a wizard like the one i have in Diablo 3.

Perhaps many of you know it, perhaps not.
its called CRITICAL MASS Build.

Its a build that can perma freeze mobs around you doin dmg at the same time with AOE spells and being a bit tanky.

I will add a video here (dont know if i am allowed) so you can make an idea of the build, and a link to the skill build descriptions so you can make an idea about the passive runes needed and the one on weapons, to create teh build.

Basically for the build to work, you need about 40% crit chance, cause in D3 we have a passive rune witch lowers the cool downs of all the skills by 1 sec, every time we crit.
so we need to "perma" crit.
Second D3 uses Arcane power instead of mana witch will regen very fast but not fast enough for this build, so we need items with a option that regens arcane power(mana) per crit..and by a lot..
i think that in POE those options on the weapons are replaced by passive runes?? or runes on weapons?! i dont know.
for thise we need a AOE skill, to spam it a lot, witch crits, so we have mana, so we have no cd.
and we need a AOE skill that freezes mobs.
we need a blink skill, teleport or something so we can get away when we are surrounded...
we also need auras..shields..
aur that lowers incoming dmg physical and elemental..something that highers our resistances..

first one is a shield skills that lowers the dmg i take A LOT for a few secs..
second is the AOE freeze skill.
third is a AOE skill that we spam fast that crits a lot so we lower the skills cool down cause of the crits it does and gives us arcane (mana)
Next skill is a armor shield that raises our armor and resistances all around.
Then we have some twisters that we can spam on the frozen monsters witch they crit also (you know already why). this can be replaced by another skill here cause probably there isnt such skills in POE.
The last skill is a blink so we can get out if something bad happends.

we alose need life regen. on passives or on weapons.
in D3 we have Life on Hit so we regen HP, and the twisters in this build and the AOE skills, heals us...

well...thats just about it...
I really hope someone can replicate that wiz, and if not, they can theory craft something.
Dont forget that we need to make the tanky, and spam AOE skills that crit a lot...so we need dmg as well.
what armor, weapons you think are good for this build?

I think your mention of TOG (The Other Game) has put people off replying.

I haven't looked at your videos or anything but I have read your description and have an example build.

Passive Tree (80pt)
As you can see it adds a lot of crit chance (425% i think) which is the base crit chance of the spell * 5.25.
Also 5% of non-crits will freeze also.

The main way at the beginning to get everything around you to freeze will be Ice Nova which has a 5% crit chance, but when you can you will probably be using Ice Spear with Lesser Multiple Projectiles.

Also I added a 20% shock chance which will mean that if you use Added Lightning damage to your skill you will do a lot more damage due to the monsters having the shocked status debuff.

This build is also designed to keep 5 power charges up and running (Power Siphon) to give an extra 25% spell damage 25%wand damage and, more importantly, an extra 250% crit chance.

PS: i see you went full crit.
as i said, in D3 i needed crit so i can lower my spells cd 1 sec for each crit, so i never have cd's cause i crit a lot, and that way i could spam spells..
but i don't thing its the case in POE, or ?!
and i need BIG chance to freeze so i can perma freeze, not just crit..
can you higher the freeze chance ?!

Yeah. If you want a Wizard like in D3, go play D3 man :/

so far in my experience of the first 30 levels, there is no "Frost Nova" (I also play a CM wizard in D3)...

Everything is a "chance to freeze", it's a totally different game in here - maybe there's a spell I haven't seen - but to be honest, a lot of the Diablo 3 players are coming here because it's a completely different game. When i feel like playing a CM Wizard, I open up Diablo 3 and I play my CM wizard. When I want to play my 3C Witch, open up PoE and play my Witch :)


So you can get something similar... but not exactly as we have in D3...
