A little Confused?

35 seconds into this video a character looks to hit with ice nova but its not a Witch, look like a Marauder. So what would be the pros and cons of using this on him?

Anyone care to help here?

He won't be able to get it as high lvl as a witch can.

Any character can use the low level skill gems for any spell.

The problem is passives.
Passives give stats. There are passives with enhance spell damage, and things like that.

If a witch takes these passives, he get more INT than the Marauder.

Ergo, in the long term, the damage will be quite quite different (and I'm not mentioning cast speed and more).

Ofc, could be useful skills for any character. Perhaps a melee build could find useful a cold spell even if not damage a lot, just for freeze purposes, and things like that.

I know but whats the point to do that in-game

The point is to give the player choices instead of limiting them to a specific set of skills.

Or just to test a skill without building another character.
