I posted it because there are lessons to be learned and there are many inflationary/economy concerns in PoE as well. The article is not extremely flattering either.

Moved to off-topic. Had the OP used it as a starting point to discuss PoE, it might have stayed in GD. Alas, this was not the case.
Warhammer 40k Inquisitor: where shotgunning is not only not nerfed, it is deeply encouraged.

Dogma > Souls, but they're masterworks all. You can't go wrong.

I was right about PoE2 needing to be a separate, new game. It was really obvious.
Diablo 3 is not good game, so the economy doesn't matter

Also it was designed with RMAH in mind and the first goal of developers was to force everybody there by any means
