Breach boss (during mapping) feedback

I feel like this boss is great. he has telegraphed attacks and i've more or less learned them.

the issue i have which is breach monsters keep popping out while he exists.

on one hand it gives a constant supply of ability triggers/flask charges etc. but on another its too distracting. how am i supposed to learn the boss fight? i am constantly getting harassed by everything all at once.

i play games like monster hunter where learning the boss attack patterns is expected. for this boss, its falling into the "check a tutorial guide" to learn his moves. coz really. that's how it is. and for sure once you've learned his moves you're "set" and should be able to handle him in the future. but i m a huge fan of organic learning. his fight is different from all other boss fights for the fact that 1001 nuisances are on the screen trying to kill you at once that you need to address.

i think it could be better where he starts off by wiping all the breach monsters on arrival. then when his life is taken down to 50% then he opens breaches where breach enemies pour in.

this can lead to a more organic way for players to learn and can actually feel epic, where it feels impactful that he summons his monsters to his side.

other note.

since he exists. it highlights something that i've bitched about "forever". ggg has tons of meticulously crafted bosses that actually have moves that can be learned and have some counterplay. but when you slap in rng mods, certain mods can just throw all balance out the window.

to me there are 2 specific mods.

1. speed mods. what counterplay does trumelee have? when the enemy attacks so fast, you have to use huge aoes or have insane attack speed yourself to sneak in hits. his attacks can be so fast that you cant sneak in hits as they're practically unreactable so the best way would be to kite him. trumelee + kiting? lmao thats not trumelee.

2. aoe mods. i like identifying opportunities to attack. weaving in and out of a bosses attacks. but with aoe mods, i need to travel from new york to japan and back again just to sneak in a hit. provided i even have enough time to pull off a hit.

many might ask WTF am i talking about. to know, simply try using a trumelee strike skill where damage comes from slapping the enemy with your stick.

sometimes i wonder, why not make strike skills all function like cleave as the bare minimum. poe1 is clearly having zero consideration to trumelee.

on another note, THIS is how league bosses should be like.

1. Boss is HUGE. you're BLIND if you dont notice the boss. a huge ass life bar appears too, so its pretty hard to miss.

2. NO FUCKING TIMER.

delirium i m looking at you. delirium bosses are supposed to be epic. but ggg cant make them too strong because delirium is a timed encounter. an idea is be like breach. have a huge area be highlighteds as the "boss arena" where the timer is stopped as long as you are in the arena.

also can apply to einhar beasts.

blight? fuck blight lmao. the bosses dont have real counterplay except "kill asap"
