Issue with Kalguuran Lost Shipments

Lock the person who designed this "Kalguuran Lost Shipments" on map with a dark theme. Spawn in as many monsters as possible — especially 3–4 of Einhar’s Beasts with their screen-filling effects that completely obscure everything on the ground — and make them manually click every single barrel. Make them do it a hundred times.

Even if you’re immortal, it’s maddeningly difficult. Now imagine trying to do it while being attacked by 20 different effects at once?

Why, for Blight, where there are no enemies (or even if there are), large, clearly visible chest identifiers were introduced so you can easily click them on the move — and it was acknowledged that the old way was too hard — did the developers go in the exact opposite direction with Kalguuran Lost Shipments?

And not only that — regular breakable barrels spill loot when destroyed. But here? No. You must walk up and click each one manually.

And even that isn’t enough — the identifiers for these barrels are invisible unless you hover the mouse exactly over them. So first you have to blindly hunt for the barrel, “feeling” for it with your cursor, then try to click before you get knocked off by yet another attack. It’s hard enough to do outside combat — let alone during it.

This isn’t gameplay. It’s frustration disguised as design.

Проблема с Kalguuran Lost Shipments

They can probably do that fairly easily by looking at the map overlay instead of the actual gfx. This (look at map overlay not gfx) is kind of how the game is designed now. (Not defending this design...)

My theory on this is that they like the clunkiness etc aka its part of "the vision". And the only reason they give players better QoL is popularity. This is similar to how they did drop currency in stacks and then they come up with special ways of dropping currency (Altars, Necro mods) where the then again go back to dropping this currency one at a time.

See above - you can use the map overlay. They are easily visible there.

See above. And obviously this should be "fixed" same way Blight has been "fixed": One click opens all of them.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
philosophy

impactful? yes.
weight? yes.

no fun allowed? also yes.

its fucking annoying having to click so many times. are you guys the same guys who recently made clicking the qol feature in blight where nearby blight chests open together on a single click?

how is it possible you guys gave us such qol and parade it as a new feature while giving us lost shipments where we need to click 1000 times?

heck if you want to make it feel more impactful change it into a lost shipment charter that needs to be brought to kings march in order to be converted into a loot screen.

Yeah it needs more visual clarity on clicking the items if it's going on to require to be clicked on every one. I don't think the mini-map should be used as an indicator to whether they have been opened or not.

Other than that I think it's a good mechanic.

Love Lost Shipments. I kinda get why they implemented them the way they did, and even if you do not use the minimap at all you notice the large chest with the hover text so you can't miss them. You're supposed to open those after clearing the surrounding mobs so idk why you bring up red beasts and whatever...
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Something I didn't think about until just now: does this Caster Mastery open those barrels?

25% chance to open nearby Chests when you Cast a Spell
