Stealing Shroud Walker with a Headhunter is torture. It's annoying and completely unfun.

Headhunter is supposed to be the most fun item in the game. You stack mods, you go fast, you become a god. It's amazing.
Then you steal Shroud Walker. And the game becomes unplayable. This isn't 'challenging,' it's just pure, unfiltered frustration. Let me list the ways this mod actively ruins your gameplay: - Forces you into death pits. You get teleported directly into voidzones, volatiles, and every other on-death effect the game has. - Throws you into packs. Your character decides to do a suicide dive into the thick of enemies you were kiting. - Makes looting impossible. Trying to pick up that divine orb? You're now teleported two screens away because a single mob survived. This mod is the single biggest downside of using a Headhunter. It's not a cool, interactive mechanic; it's a 3-second cooldown on a forced, random teleport that gets you killed and wastes your time. Shroud Walker's current implementation is anti-fun and just annoying. It needs to be removed from the HH pool or changed to something that doesn't actively work against the player. currently seems the best option is to just click off the buffs when you get shroudwalker if it's a problem

Shroudwalker is the only reason I want to stop playing path of exile. I love the game but shroudwalker is such a bad modifier that everytime I steal the buff with HH I unequip and re-equip my HH. The fact that there is a modifier that effectively is so bad that the item becomes a downside, is not the way it should be. Its like having a mageblood and once every 5 minutes you get 1 minute downtime on your flasks...
Please remove the modifier from the pool and make HH great again. |
