The new Breach is not good

The old Breach was an optional content. If you didn't want it, you could choose not to trigger it, or even block it completely from appearing in your maps. If you liked it, you could spend your time and farm it for some very valuable rewards.

Not so with the new Breach. It's invasive and aggressive, you can't skip it, you can't block it. It will occupy a part of your map and make it unavailable for any other content. And farming it is hardly worth the time.

Sure, they can hand-pick some highlights with Mirrors and Magebloods dropping. But that's not different from any other league. When 200,000+ play the game, good things are guaranteed to drop, on stream too. And if they don't then GGG can always help (yes, I still remember one particular league start when several high profile streamers just happened to randomly drop a mirror on stream at almost the same time).

But for an average player this league mechanic is boring, time-consuming and unrewarding. And what's worse, a number of old farming strats don't work as well as they have in the past because they are being partially suppressed by the new Breach.

And the boss fight (Tul and Esh) is a total bummer. They don't drop anything or any value! They don't even give you the blood to craft something on the tree. It's completely worthless!

Obviously, this mechanic is going core - if only because of the very important lore. But when it does there better be an Atlas node to block it. In fact, I would like that node right now already.

It has that forced-league-mechanics-of-POE2 feel about it. It is annoying.
