Forcing an instance to crash (and to rollback)

when i pm my friend ingame a bunch of dots the instance im in crashes.

its a message like this: @friend .........(hundreds of dots)


when i tried alt rolling an item and forcing the crash the item stayed how it should be.

But when i went into the coast on a new char, dropped all my gear on the ground, and then forced the crash it crashed the instance and i had my items back in my inventory after i relogged into town
