➕ Funny - Sparks everywhere :D ➕ Easy leveling ➕ Very fast clearing maps ➕ Good single target damage ➕ Hybrid and high life / ES pool ➕ Tanky and very good sustain ➕ 100% of mana can be reserved ➕ Traps style so reflect damage doesn't care ➕ Generally on budget gear we can start doing red maps ➕ Amazing Delve runner ➖ For full potential we need Gloves, which are a bit expensive on start ➖ Sunblast mechanic can be clunky at the start and need a bit practice ➖ We need stack Chaos Res ➖ Needs a bit more pay attention vs chaos damage monsters, cuz it bypasses ES ➖ Might suffers cause bit lacks dmg on some rare or bosses 2. - You like Traps?
- You love Spark skill? - You hate self-cast with Spell Echo Support? Then its Build exactly for you my friend! Also why Spark Trap comparing to for example Ice Trap? With Sunblast we have delayed explosions, Ice Trap hit just one on area and that's all, also monsters often just can running from this. Although Sparks mechanic is great for that style, we are throwing Traps and run through map, but behind us Sparks still destroying everything and bounces from walls etc., is super funny and have a great potential. 3. STATS GOAL

Just number of some stats what Builds can do. First is clear = only gear and tree without aura / buff, then with them:
1) Life = 4k 2) ES = 2k 3) Evasion Rating = 15k-20k (30-35k with Grace) 4) Spell Damage Suppression Chance = 100% 5) Life regen per sec. = 300-400 (500-700 with Sulphur Flask on ground) 5) ES regen recharge per sec. = 500-800 6) Projectile Speed for Spark = 150-200% 7) Spark Duration = 3-3.5 sec. 8) Average Damage on Spark skill (just tooltip from skill descritpion, in reality damage is very more higher) - 15-25k - 30k+ with Summon Skiterrbots + Wrath - 33k+ with Summon Skiterrbots + Wrath + Sulphur Flask 4. Leveling is pretty simply and fun - we gonna just traps gems. Explosive Trap -> 1-12 lvl Lightning Trap -> 12-28 lvl Ice Trap -> 28lvl+ - For movement take Frostblink, then you can change on Flame Dash - For Explosive Trap Combustion Supp is nice at the start - For support gems to Trap setup we add pure dmg - Added Cold Damage / Added Lightning Damage - From 4 lvl Steelskin is nice additional Shield - From 8 lvl we put Multiple Traps on setup and our clear is so better, but remember on big bosses put off Multiple Traps and you can add another damage support - From 10 lvl you can use Siphoning Trap, it's even helpful to reg life, when we don't have too much of that yet. Also Clarity will be nice to keep mana. - From 16 lvl take Summon Skitterbots - From 18 lvl add Trap and Mine Damage Supp for your Trap setup - From 24 lvl take Conductivity, on 28 lvl change on Frostbite. Also take Grace aura and you can stack a bit Evasion on eq, so rest of campaign will be easier and less deaths IMPORTANT! You can start using Sunblast belt already from 37 lvl, but it have delay on traps explosion, although we don't have damage penalty from Multiple Trap Supp so your choice. If you go with that belt i suggest put Quartz Flask for Phasing. 6. SWAPS

SWAP ON ELDRITCH BATTERY We will be use just mana cost, but next milestone is swap on Eldritch Battery Keystone. Why is so important? Cuz it better for sustain our source to spam. We can use all mana on auras / buffs and just use Energy Shield, also drop off Mana potions totally. When is right moment to swap on it? It depends, but I can say we need around 500 ES + over 100 ES regenerate, so node from Trickster Ascendancy Escape Artist is pretty helpful right here, but we need also a lot of Evasion Rating on Body Armor. Remember about downside of this swap - ES not protect our life pool anymore, so we are less tanky.

SWAP ON SPARK OF THE NOVA There are 2 options: - You can swap on maps after campaign - You can swap around 50-60 lvl Not matter which option you choose, important are 3 things: 1) Duration (from tree is enough, add More Duration on setup gems is not worth I think) ![]() 2) Projectile Speed (here we need Faster Projectiles Supp + also Amu which is very cheap + mastery close to our 3rd point is literally 1 passive point) ![]() ![]() 3) Projectiles Pierce additional target (Pierce Support would be great, but it's better option and we get free slot on support, so literally for 2-3 points we have 3 target pierces, it's enough. Also like I wrote above we have path to 15% more Projectile Speed) ![]()

SWAP ON GLOVES Real fun and game is starting right here when we got this Gloves - but can be a bit expensive on league start. ![]() So what to do after put on? - We respect Eldritch Battery, so we have 4-6 free passive points - We are starting get Regenerate life per seconds on eq (but honestly I had just Vitality 16 lvl + 50 reg life on just one item and it just enough on maps start) - Our ES goes (again ;d) to life pool, so you can also stack maximum ES on eq and tree, also Energy Shield Mastery - 30% of Chaos Damage taken does not bypass Energy Shield seems very helpful ![]() - Stack Chaos Res as much as possible (flask with 35% is a big on start before better eq) - You can reserve 100% of your mana - We literally put Life Tap on every other setups (Curse, Movement, Steelskin another skill to cast). Spark with Trap Supp is already on life tap with Gloves so don't worry 7. KEYSTONES & MASTERIES

1) Great defensive layer of our Build, while we have tons of Evasion Rating. ![]() 2) We stack a bit armor for red gems so it's free dmg for Spark.

1) We are Trapper, so these 2 things are big. ![]() 2) More Evasion Rating for free, it's huge while we have a lot of that on Body, also 30% chance to avoid Bleeding, Poisoned and Imapled it's nice. ![]() 3) Life is always good. ![]() 4) Duration is very important for this Build. ![]() 5) Projectile speed is also needed for this setup. ![]() 6) It's very helpful to increasing Suppress Spell Damage chance, you have here explanation from reddit how much it gives you: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/128tdo6/simple_graph_for_the_value_of_chance_to_suppress/ ![]() 7) Nice deffensiver layer to a bit minimalize byppass our Energy Shield ![]() 8) We need this to activate all auras. ![]() 9) Free dmg from auras / buffs. 8. UNIQUES We are playing just 3 uniques: 1) Amu - "Karui Ward" is cheap and excellent, then we can use "Replica Dragonfang's Flight" with +3 to Spark, but it's so expensive. ![]() 2) Belt - Sunblast is first core of this Build and it's cheap. How it works? - Practically we have Mulitple Traps effect but without dmg penalty - Downside is our Traps can't be exploded so fast so we need a bit practice where traps should be throwing on ground - Important on Reduced Trap Duration on that Belt (is from 50 to 75) so look for much as you can, why? Trap standard duration is 4 sec., with 50% it's 2 sec., but with 75% is 1 sec., it'so huge difference, cuz like most traps exploded late ![]() 3) Gloves - it's main point of this Build, but expensive. - Traps costs life, so Spark Trap is life cost now - We generate Endurance Charges - Cast Speed on everything on our gear: tree, flasks = we have more Trap Throwing Speed in 1:1, it's so nice ![]()

For offensive stats: lightning damage, elemental damage, spell damage. Cast speed is also nice with Gloves. For defensive just stack life, ES, regen life, elemental res, chaos res, chance for suppress spell damage. - Helmet with Evasion + ES - Shield with Evasion + ES - Body Armor with Evasion + ES - Gloves with Evasion + ES - Boots with Armor + ES (cuz we need 3 red colors)

FLASKS The most important: 1) Quartz - Phasing mechanic is very important, while we have delayed traps explosion 2) Life 3) Quicksilver 4) Amethyst - when you get enough chaos res, you can put off Second important: 1) Sulphur - additional damage is always good, more regen life is very good and 50% reduced effect of curses on you is great 2) Silver - gives Onslaught, so with Gloves, it's great 3) Jade - if you lacks of Evasion just use it

ANNOINT Projectile damage and projectile speed is the best option, so we have 3 of them to choice. I like 30% speed from 3rd choice. 1) ![]() 2) ![]() 3) ![]() 9. GEMS SETUP

Besides main skill Spark and aura / buffs we needs life tap on every cast skill, just every should cost life not mana. 1) Spark Spark with Trap support to using this as Traps, also Faster Projectiles is crucial, rest gems for max dmg. 2) Flame Dash Nice movement skill, with Second Wind we have 4 charges. so it's very nice. 3) Steelskin Shield for over 2k is great addition and with using Automation we don'tt have to worried about to recast it, but remember about cooldown time of this skill. 4) Conductivity Curse with lightning res with Hex bloom is very nice, I like use this support on Delve. 5) Orb of Storms Amazing against rare, bosses and though enemies. With Lightning Penetration Supp is so helpful to get more dmg on single target and lasts on ground even a a lot of time. 6) Others single without link 1) Summon Skitterbots - main aura, nice dmg, shock + chill effect, also detonade traps for generate Frenzy and Endurance Charges for us. 2) Wrath - nice scaling cuz it's have more damage, not increasing. 3) Vaal Grace - defensive, much of Evasion, also Vaal version is nice for hot situations. 4) Vaal Discipline - with that we can recharge even while we got damage instantly. 5) Vaal Haste - amazing, besides movement speed we got cast speed what equals more Trap Throwing Speed thanks to Gloves. You can use also deffensive setup: put Discipline and Vitality, but you need drop off Wrath. REMEMBER! Don't get link Life Tap with Vaal Grace, cuz it destroying to using standard aura of Grace, with Vaal Haste it's doesn't matter. 10. ASCENDANCY

You can ask why not Saboteur, cuz Sabo has Chain Reaction, ya that's right - although Sunblast totally turn off this, so it's useless. Also others nodes aren't satisfied me at all, then I prefer pick Trickster. 1) So big less hits damage and damage over time taken and it got buff ![]() 2) Great for our Build, we stack Evasion and Energy Shield. ![]() 3) More deffensive against spells and 50% chance to recharge ES when suppress spell damage is amazing, relatively 100% suppress chance is easy to get, so nerf of deleted 20% suppress chance isn't much painful. ![]() 4) Seems a bit useless, but here it changes a lot. Wit that every type of charge lasts 30 sec. instead of 10 sec., it's especially good for keeping Endurance charge from Gloves on maps. ![]() 11. BANDITS

1) Major - I like Lunaris, cuz movement and physical reduction, but Arakaali seems good too, especially +40% chaos res against over time when you don't have much chaos res yet ![]() ![]() 2) Minor - Ralakesh is better choice, but again if you lacks of chaos res Shakari can be good before ![]() ![]() 13. - Cannot reg life is totally destroying us - Less reg life / ES can be a bit painful - Suppress chance is unlucky might be dangerous against some moobs - Any chaos mods can be annoying cuz byppass of ES 14. GAMEPLAY

In gameplay is like typical Trapper, but mechanically it's just Spark. So throw some Traps on ground (we are throwing 3x per one cast with Sunblast), go further, again throwing, etc. If you fight with rare / bosses if you can just spam traps or throw some and avoid attacks.
- Run, run, run and always have up Quartz Flask with Phasing - From time to time our Skitterbots will detonate traps, so then explode will be faster - Cast Conductivity on big pack monsters, Hex Bloom it transfers Curse to another monsters - Cast Orb of Storms with Lightning Penetraion will helpful to take out rare, but remeber we have to be close to cast this skill where we want - Don't forget to cast Vaal skills for extra stats and defense - If you have in hard situation or you struggle with though mods on rare, just run, back off and wait for regen life and ES, we have good range to throw traps, so you don't have to risk 15. FURTHER IMPROVEMENT OF MY CURRENT BUILD
