This league is so underwhelming and dry of FUN that I'm stunned how badly you executed it.
I've played probably last 20-30 red maps without single Fortress encounter. Loot that I'm getting from map breaches is next to useless. Breach tree because there's so little wombgifts is also next to useless. Where's the LOOT ffs why are you so keen on making this game boring? Last bumped on Nov 7, 2025, 2:36:49 PM

too easy to get the 6link and then the tree is so good you dont need or want to do any other thing.

Biggest drop in players ever after the first week? Where in the world did you get that?
Current concurrent player numbers RIGHT NOW is over 60k. That is stunningly.....average......for a week after league launch. Perhaps even ABOVE average. And if you are basing your entire "drop" on weekly peak comparison, then that's just foolish misrepresentation or misunderstanding of data. Starting anew....with PoE 2

Settlers 154k Crucible 124k Mercenaries 122k -----Keepers 114k----- Affliction 107k Necro 106k Ancestor 103k Sanctum 75k Day 7 percent retention Mercenaries 68.2% Settlers 67.1% Affliction 64.1% Ancestor 62.3% -----Keepers 61%----- Crucible 58.6% Sanctum 58.4% Necro 55.8% Average retention. Agree that the league needed more content to be a true banger. I've been having a lot of fun just messing around with grafts but if you want content like abyss hoard farming from last league you're out of luck. |

" Not an accurate measure of retention. "Daily max players" is an all-but-useless statistic. That max could have been hit for all of a single minute before immediately dropping 50k players, you have no idea. Because a Daily max is a single snapshot in time. By its definition, it represents an outlier data point. Example: if your "% retention" players (the 61% left) actually represent 99% of all "total playtime"......then TRUE retention is actually going to be WAY higher. Someone signing in for a minute and then signing out isn't a data point for true retention of players based on CONTENT. Another Example: Say the peak players on day one was 180k, but the average length of time each of those players stayed on the game was 1 hour. Now, a week later, the peak is 110K, but the average length of time each of those players stayed on is 3 hours. And then if you find out that there is significant (or perhaps even minimal) overlap of players that were part of the day 1 "peak" versus the day 7 "peak......well then now your entire analysis is screwed. These are all the unknowns that relying on "peak" data create, present, and make it unrepresentative of anything tangible. Averages, on the other hand, self-correct for all of those things and are much more reliable and valid metrics. It is, however, a wonderful coincidence that your data analysis even with faulty data STILL points to average retention lol. Nope, pretty average for a week after launch based on concurrent players.
They need to fix some things for sure. It appears to be inconsistent on the fortress. I get one about every 5-10 maps, which is about right. It has been a fun league for me. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

From day 1 I saw the costs on the wombs to make them items were already too expensive. STILL ARE.
Unless you get a fortress every map you're spending 2 maps to use ONE womb. To add this you can get in a situation where you have too many wombs but the blood is so low that you can't almost never run out of wombs but you will run out of blood. And the loot that got kalandra'd what happened here in the past months/year? I keep seeing people that was enjoying the loot from last league and it was nothing compared to the current one And now apparently people have to wait 4 months for an actual change on the currency because apparently they can't do numerical changes before that If it's fun for you fine good for you see you on whatever topic then. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

" In necropolis patch 3.2.4 all T16 and below drop rates were nuked from orbit because T17 was introduced and the rationale was "well we just want you to do T17 to get your stuff". Forums were filled with "where's the loot" posts like they are now. No caving occurred by the devs. |
