Change in Teleport Behavior During Act Rushes – Intentional or Bug?
|
Hi GGG team and fellow exiles,
I’ve noticed a change in teleport behavior during act rushes this league and wanted to raise it here, as suggested by support. What’s happening: I often preload zones using an alt character to streamline act rushes. In previous leagues, this worked reliably: -My main character would teleport to the alt and fully load/move within the zone. -The person I was rushing could then teleport to me and would arrive directly at my location—usually at a waypoint or checkpoint. What’s changed: Since this league began, even after my main character has fully loaded and moved, the person I’m rushing is now placed at the start of the zone instead of at my location. The only workaround seems to be opening a town portal, which defeats the purpose of preloading with an alt. Why it matters: This change has made my leveled alt account essentially obsolete. I now have to teleport to my hideout and manually click the correct waypoint, which adds 5–10 seconds of load time per zone. Over the course of a full act rush, this adds up to around 10 extra minutes. My questions: -Is this change in teleport behavior intentional? -If so, is it part of a broader design shift? -If not, is it a known issue that’s being looked into? I’ve done a lot of rushes in past leagues and this shift has had a noticeable impact on the process. Would love to hear from the devs or others who’ve encountered the same thing. Thanks for your time and for continuing to support the game! — Jettand86 Last edited by Jettand86#7913 on Nov 6, 2025, 3:08:09 AM Last bumped on Nov 9, 2025, 6:15:25 PM
