Genesis Tree Questline bug?

Hello guys, i have 8 pieces of the genesis tree, (doing the 15k bloodgraf quest now), and i've look at the poe wiki, it said that the 1st fortress hive will drop me a body part to upgrade the genesis tree and the pinnacle boss of this league will drop the 10th!
I still didnt do the boss, but i did like 10 hive fortresses without dropping any body part to upgrade the genesis tree.
Unfortunately ive failed the 1st fortress hive, but did 10 of them after, is it bugged because i failed my 1st or is just luck based? Thanks
