Are "Limited" items also Drop-restricted?

Im currently playing in a private league with 2 other people. I am looking for Coruscating Elixir currently, so i have been farming as many Caer Blaidd maps i can since thats the only place the card drops now. Since the flask is limited as drop type i assumed that you could not get the flask from tree or from blood altar (bestiary).


I have not had any luck with cards at all, so i started looking at wiki again etc to see if i could find alternative ways to get the flask. Since this is not a new flask i assumed that the wiki would be correct by now, and while looking at the drop-restricted list i do not see the Coruscating elixir there. And in the wiki for blood altar it only mentions that as a limit to what it can create, does that mean that bestiary and the new genesis tree could create the flask?

Seems like it might not be an outcome from the tree if it can't drop, you're probably right, I don't know though.

I got some regular unique flasks off the tree, this league. One was karui and the other was sorrow of the divine.

Not sure about beast craft. It can't be chanced, and I think ancient orb will not work either, and probably not temple.

Some suggestions I'm seeing are farming stacked decks and ritual. I didn't actually realise it couldn't drop naturally until reading your post, usure if it was from cards or some other method, didn't regard it as being super rare.

Does the card not also drop in the den act 7? There would be a drop penalty for character level, but would not require the maps.

I just dropped a dragon card from a safe in a heist reward room. Heist is also pretty good for stacked decks, so that might be something to try. Strongbox might also be good.
