Genesis Tree points

How do you unlock more points for the tree?
I have a optional quest that says to find more body parts, but I have found 8 so far and killed the breach named for the second graft slot. No other parts have been dropping and I was also told there is a quest called Fertilising the Genesis Tree or something to spend graftblood to unlock more points, but there is no quest tracker to tell me how much I have left to spend. I think it might be through doing more crafting. If you are standing next to your tree you might see an optional quest on the log on the RHS. It says how much more you need to get to the next level. Basically, farm and use more graftblood.
