About in person trade only

In person trade only function:

1)Ruins pricecheking app cause of afk bots on market in most of cases, some begginers too;

2)Ruins poeninja cause of same reasons;

3)AND MANLY--- ruins neversink filter(check ur filter btw, my uber strict and uber plus strict were hiding many 8-50c scarabs like "ambush discernment scarab" cause many bots set 1c price on in person trade only market).

So, i want to ask some expert, especially from ggg: is there possibility to turn off this trade or make all these devices for poe1 without reading info from person trade only?

this is a 3rd party issue, not a GGG issue. I expect at some point in the near future the apps will adjust their options and API input to use the instant buy out data only
“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
This is exactly why it’s worth investing a bit of extra effort to refine and tailor your loot filter to your own preferences and exact needs, instead of relying solely on the default front-page presets.
It’s far from the first, and certainly won’t be the last league where Neversink’s filters have shown some degree of oversight or imbalance… perhaps not entirely by accident, either.

This is a new one for me, do people think neversink has an agenda? Ive watched this mans stream, he seems like a saint.

yep, he is one of best dudes in poe community, i used his filters even before filterblade from forum, and without dudes like him i would probably dropped game. GGG don't get how bad filtering is in their game. Maybe after 5y...

no proper fights with bots from ggg for 5 YEARS, so i think lot of fault on ggg, cause they keep it, so more of scummers and p2wers became arrogant

It’s not really about having an agenda, but when major oversights keep slipping through each league, especially when it was painfully obvious price fixing would spiral hard, it’s hard not to ignore how the passion behind the product seems to be fading. To be fair, long-term development can wear anyone down, but after years of working on the same product for leagues, seeing the same types of mistakes repeat suggests burnout or simply low effort. In the software industry, this level of recurring oversight would generally be considered below standard, and in a real job, you’d probably be let go rather quickly.

At this point, it feels less like something driven by passion and more like a product being kept afloat for the sake of the income it generates. Even long standing third party tool creators seem to be hitting their limits, which only makes it more surprising that GGG still hasn’t implemented an official in-game loot filter. Last Epoch managed to do it, simple, efficient, and player-friendly. Imagine that.

personally, i think these design choices you complain about were done intentionally to stop people using external tools to profit in their game.

reasons?

1) people using external tools are always borderline cheating
2) since ggg doesn't really say what tools are allowed, using tools your're prone to lose your account
3) if you spent alot of money on the game, you can't risk a ban and so can't use any tools

=> people who like this chris' game to succeed, have to endure serious drawbacks playing it.

and poe.ninja, yeah great spoiler tool so some few can profit more from the game and it's statistics as well as everybody playing the same build 3 hours after a league started.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

GGG has pretty clear guidelines on whats allowed and what isnt. If you want to handicap yourself, thats your choice, but its not a very smart one.

These tools kept game alive, ggg said what is allowed, 3- i know about bans, but you completely don't understand situation about p2w in this game, new accs, new proxy, programmes to hack reading of hardware etc.
We shouldn't complain from ur position is terrible decision, that's not how criticise works. And poe ninja is cool site to check fast and set prices in filter, for ne it was obvious
