Hive Fortress Freeze then Black Screen

Windows 11 i7-11700 3.6ghz 128GB RAM Nvidia RTX 3090 24GB Game Settings Windowed Fullscreen 5120x2160 NVIDIA DLAA DX12 Settings on Default except for Upscale Mode: NVIDIA DLSS Lighting: Shadows + Global Illumination Shadows + GI Quality: High Number of Lights: High Texture Filtering: 16X Anisotropic Around wave 12 the game will freeze for appx 15 seconds and then come back to a black screen where I can see my character's health bar and the GUI. I've only encountered the Fortress twice so far but the freeze has happened at roughly the same wave. Last bumped on Nov 4, 2025, 11:58:58 PM

Switched to Vulkan, no freeze or black screen at all.
