Soul Eater and Risk vs Reward

Why are we giving Unstable Breach rares Soul Eater and infinite spawning mobs to feed them? And we've once again not learned from the past and not guaranteed that they drop anything worth your time.
I thought that maybe I'm just getting unlucky, but after the 5th or 6th time of taking the 2 full minutes to kill the stupid fcking thing, it doesn't even drop any Wombgifts, let alone anything else worth the time. ALL fully completed Breach encounters should drop AT LEAST one Wombgift. What's the point of engaging with the system if not? I'm just playing Standard at that point, but it takes more time. Soul eater has been a problem for a while, this is just highlighting it, will probably lead to them improving it eventually.
Usually it has been if you encounter a tough soul eater you just move on, but this requires not moving on for the reward. Delve nodes are a bit similar. Having one randomly rolled mod that makes the rare way more powerful than any other random rare is probably not good in general. Having a variety of different mods that do different things and challenge different builds is good, but this one has been OP for a while. Mainly there is no real counter. Kiting is not a big thing in POE and in some case like with these breaches not even possible. |
