Graft skill not triggering properly

The Graft skil 'Call the Pyre' from the '''Flamecaller Xophgraft' states that it triggers 'when you attack with this graft equipped' however the skill Lancing Steel of Spraying (and potengially other non-melee attacks) do not proc the ability.

I have the same issue with the flamecaller graft not triggering on lancing steel of spraying
