Merchant tab features

I would love to be able to set merchant tabs to “Set exact price on all items,” just like with the Premium tabs most of my sales come from them. My stupid brain just changed 20 of my Premium tabs to Merchant tabs before checking if they had that setting. So, for me, I basically wasted about 15 of those tabs, and they’re never going to get used. My problem stems from my own stupidity, and I don’t know if this has been asked and answered before — since Merchant tabs have been a thing in PoE2 for a while already but I’d still love the option to quickly price all items.

Merchant tabs remember the previous price so it's still relatively smooth to "dump" a lot of items at the same price.
Besides, the advantages of merchant tabs far outweight the disadvantages so it's hardly a "waste". Last edited by MagosX#1099 on Nov 1, 2025, 11:00:28 AM

" Well, sadly for me, it takes far too long to put up most items to make it worth my while. So, for now, it definitely still feels like a huge waste to have more than like at most 5 tabs; you are never going to fill them if you price check accordingly or changing prices each half /day would take far too long if you' d go the dump route. But that's just my opinion and the way I play the game. However, I also see no negative to adding the option. Last edited by catan118#7927 on Nov 1, 2025, 3:33:35 PM

Surely the time you save by not performing a manual trade outweighs that.

" Nope. I usually run my content, picking up items with potential value → chuck them into a quad tab → once it’s full, I ID them and quickly check if any of them stand out → the ones that do, I price and put up manually (for those, merchant tabs are great) → for the rest, I move the tab to the side, and in case I missed some decent items, I price the whole tab high — like 100c to 5d depending on how far into the league I am → then I change the price the next day or once the next quad is filled. The last two steps are the problem, and the reason I don’t use them for a lot of items. Manual trades are a problem — that’s why I don’t go down to 1c–5c–10c+, depending on how far I am (still a loss, but at some point, the time a manual trade takes just isn’t worth 1c). Items I price manually go into a merchant tab, which is great, but I never get more than maybe one quad tab full of manually priced items since they sell fairly fast — so there’s still no reason to have 19 merchant tabs; they’re a waste (for me). |
