Latest Update Crashes Launcher on MacOS

After the latest update, I cannot log in on my MacBook. Worked fine previously. I have had one successful load but otherwise it just closes the client.

The loading status goes from Checking Resources to Done and then crashes. After that I get an error window that says Path of Exile quit unexpectedly.

Any fixes? Tried reinstalling and all of that.

I found another threat that has a solution using Terminal. I keep that handy in a note pad after each update. Every update has launched once and then crashes when I try another game session. I don't have the link to the original thread, but I'll put the instructions here:

1. Open the "Terminal" app.
2. Change directory (cd) into PoE's folder. Type the following and press enter:

cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Path\ of\ Exile

3. Open PoE, with -n flag ("Open a new instance of the application(s) even if one is already running.") - no idea if it's needed or why it helps. Run the following:

open -n ./Path\ of\ Exile.app

I literally copy and paste the two lines of code into Terminal and it works every time. I can't claim credit for this, I know very little about command prompt writing.
