Disconnected: Failed to connect to instance

Can anyone help me here, this has been happening all night and I'm concerned that it's going to happen on League start, it happens anytime i try to load an instance or log into the game.

Update - I use steam and have validated the files and all 46220 files have been successfully validated, so i know it's nothing on my end.

"Failed to connect to instance" usually means that the instance on the server has either crashed, or timed out or reset. There is not anything that you can do about it, unfortunately.

Could you try logging into a different server and see if that works?

I am getting some extremely bad vibes here. This reminds me of the "failed to connect to instance" that was extremely prevalent in PoE2 0.3.0, it ruined the entire thing for me.

I just logged in to PoE1 to do some test runs and I'm getting very similar behavior - inconsistently can / cannot connect to the instance when changing zones. Changing from London to another fixes it like 10% of the time. It seems very bricked right now.
