Game freezes then auto-pauses for recovery

The Bug started occurring after the 3.26 patch.
Occurs about once every 20-30 minutes while looking at tooltips, be it ground loot shown by item filter, chat links, character equipment, stashed items.

Duration lasts typically 5-15 seconds. The game window will go black and audio will cut out, then recover often with an auto-pause being triggered. The GGG loading gears will be displayed briefly, sometimes visually distorted while the game recovers visual and audio. I often stop all input during this freeze since it seems to kick me to the login screen if I try to take action.

Map fog of war is reset upon recovery, even in heist where the minimap is revealed.
