Game froze, came back with a loading spinner on a black screen, I think I'm dead?

I was running an ultimatum, game froze, after a few seconds it came back with the screen being black and a GGG loading spinner in the middle of the screen.

I heard my character yell as if I had died.

I am CI, and I still have 9,700 ES on, but my life shows 0/1.

I have Flame Link with my merc, but my merc doesn't show as dead.

And now I am stuck at the Ultimatum select reward screen, I cannot pick any of the option. I cannot close the Ultimatum screen to see if I have a "resurrect" button or the death screen.

The game is paused because ultimatum reward screen pauses the game so I can't do anything other than logout I guess?

After going back to character selection, I chose the same character. I didn't lose xp so I guess I didn't actually die?

Went back in my map, game was still paused with ultimatum active, but no Ultimatum reward screen. After like 30s seconds ultimatum just ended as if I had lost my rewards.
