League Footprints Variations

My friend and I each purchased League Footprints Variations. He bought the Synthesised Footprints Effect, while I bought the Harvest Seed Footprints Effect. Why is it that when he rides the Rhoa Mount Minion, the footprint effect is displayed correctly, but when I ride the Rhoa Mount Minion, it isn't? Moreover, the footprint effect doesn't show up when I use the body appearance of King of the Faridun either.
