Out of the Gate Steam Achievement

I have one achievement left on steam called "Out of the Gate" where you need to "Reach level 8 in any Race Event".
I was wondering if the upcoming gauntlet event works for this achievement and what exactly I would need to achieve to "reach level 8". Last bumped on Aug 1, 2025, 11:40:31 AM

I would expect the Gauntlet Event to count, yes, as it's a GGG official event.
"Reach level 8" isn't some event-specific vernacular; it's just asking you to reach that character level. |

As a final answer to this question for anyone who might also wonder in the future.
@Sarno#0493 is correct. You just need to reach character lvl 8 with any character. Ziziarans Gauntlet Event counts for the Achievement. |
