Merged Accounts, but characters not showing

I merged my PC and Xbox account, but my characters aren't showing on the opposite platform. I have changed the sub accounts and tested it on each device with the same result. The original characters from those accounts show just fine, but if I change sub accounts it prompts me to make a new character. I went through with it just in case, but it doesn't show the others regardless. Any fixes?
